Protestantism and State Formation in Postrevolutionary Oaxaca

Abstract

In six detailed chapters of his book, Kathleen Mclntyre, Ph.D. in History from the University of New Mexico & Lecturer en the Department of Gender and Gender Studies at the University of Rhode Island, Analyze the intersections between identity Indigenous Ethnicity, Religious Identities Catholic and Protestant traditions, as well as the notions of of nation, gender and tradition in the process post-revolutionary consolidation of the Mexican Nation-State.
