Potential Final Disposal Sites of Urban Solid Waste in the District of Miahuatlán, Oaxaca

Abstract

The final disposal sites are the last stage of the urban solid waste management process, without However, the district of Miahuatlán lacks this type of infrastructure. For this reason, the present research work aims to make known the help of Geographic Information Systems (SIG) the suitable sites according to the regulations current Mexican law (NOM-083-SEMARNAT-2003. There are 7 municipalities with the characteristics established by the standard for installation in addition
to proximity to the municipality with the greatest demographic growth.
