Introduction. One of the problems before and during the Covid-19 pandemic has been mental health. Distance education and e-learning have been significant contributors to issues of mental health. As it has been lived, it has not been easy. This study’s approach focuses on the self-perception of mental health and its link to the digital medium of education during the pandemic. The study’s participants were students from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC). Methodology. The study utilizes cross-sectional and mixed descriptive observational study methods. It uses both types of statistics. Polytomous, dependent, independent and nominal variables were all considered. Some of the variables included the level of concern, Covid-19, types of thought , behavior, anxiety, digital media contact. Discussion. The results indicate that there were high rates of anxiety, worry and stress due to the use of technology, which is why students had been more concerned about their health; they preferred the in-person classes; and felt more prepared on the digital side of their education.
