Abstract

Oral health depends largely on the preventive measures we adopt to preserve it. The elements used are varied (dental floss, mouthwashes, etc.) but without a doubt, the main one is tooth brushing, and toothpaste is required in order to do this. One of the most common questions for dentists is, which is the most suitable toothpaste. Subsequently in the young adult population, it is also if any of these toothpastes have the ability to whiten teeth. However care should be taken regarding the handling of carbon-based toothpastes and it is recommended to consult a dentist, since their use for teeth whitening continues to be controversial.
